ARKAD was founded in 2021 as a new business segment of ACCORUS, a successful family business in the real estate industry.
ARKAD invests in medium-sized companies with the aim of creating sustainable value through entrepreneurial decisions and innovation. We invest in companies that have strong market positioning due to their technology and engineering expertise. An established and profitable business model is as important to us as an entrepreneurial management.
ARKAD's capital base comes from ACCORUS and other entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial families. This allows the long-term development of our investments. We do not have a fixed investment time horizon and do not use structured loans burdening the acquired companies, as it is practise in conventional private equity firms.

ARKAD does not see itself as a conventional financial investor, but rather as a partner for companies. We categorically reject short-term profit maximization. We see ourselves as entrepreneurs who want to develop companies across generations.

ARKAD concentrates on majority holdings in medium-sized companies indiscriminate of industry. Geographically we focus on enterprises in German-speaking countries that have a superior market position, thanks to a high level of technological and engineering expertise.
We participate as a strong partner in such enterprises and act as an accelerator for long-term and sustainable growth. With our complementary strengths to the German “Mittelstand”, we can support companies in their internationalization and digitization or inorganic growth. We want our investments to create added value for companies, entrepreneurs and employees.
